Apotek Art Museum
A rebrand for Hafnarborg, an art gallery in Iceland, done in a branding course at school. The brief was that Hafnarborg had started a collaboration with Tate Modern and would from now on focus only on contemporary art. I gave the gallery a new name, Apotek Art Museum, based on the original name of the building it's located in. I decided it needed an easier name to pronounce because of it's new international connections, The inspiration for the brand feel is sought to programming and a hands-on-sketch feel. For the museum I designed stationery, envelopes, name cards and invitations to openings. I also did two different posters to show how the look would work for different exhibitions.
The final project in the course was to design a physical object. I did a catalogue and a poster for an exhibition called Skia.
